Dafne when she was 1 year and 9 months old. She has the 80% of the syndrome.

Que por cierto no les he dicho... sólo se encuentran alrededor de 30 casos registrados en la historia médica.

Dafne estuvo suscrita al NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders), fué la primer niña inscrita en la historia de esta organización. A través de ella fue que me contactó una mamá con un niño que tiene el mismo síndrome. Molly y yo hemos buscado cada quien por su lado a niños con el mismo síndrome sin ningún éxito. Sólo sabemos que Jimmy y Dafne son los únicos niños con Síndrome de Johanson-Blizzard que hemos encontrado vivos. Esto no quiere decir que el síndrome sea mortal, sino que los casos vivos no están registrados.

Por favor, si conoces a algún padre de un niño con este mismo síndrome, da la dirección de este blog. Quiero compartir y poder ayudar desde mi propia experiencia.

By the way... I didn't tell you....there are around 30 cases registered in medical history. Daphne was suscribed to the NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders); she was the first person suscribed in the history of this organization. Through this organization I was contacted by Molly, another Mom with a boy who has the same syndrome. Molly and I have been looking for another children with the same syndrome by our own. We know that Jimmy and Daphne are the only children with JBS that we have founded alive. This doesn't mean that this syndrome is mortal, I mean that there are not alive cases registered.
